Sanctuary South
We believe that the world is alive with the fullness of holy things calling us to notice. Our task is to listen, attend to beauty, and love our neighbors in ways that make the invisible claims visible.
In the season of Epiphany revelation does not confirm our routes, it reroutes us, and in a moment when life feels lost and loud, our liturgy becomes an act of resistance walk faithfully even when the cultural maps no longer deserve our trust.

Ash on Cherry St.
Imposing Ashes on Cherry Street is a public Ash Wednesday offering that carries the church’s oldest words into the city’s common spaces. It invites the sacred to meet the everyday, marking Lent not behind walls but in the flow of Macon’s life. Hosted by Rev. Dr. Jake Hall. Times TBA.

Our Approach
Seeking and sustaining spaces where beauty, story, and spirit meet.
Sanctuary South is a creative faith community for those who find the sacred both within and beyond the stained glass. We gather online and in occasional in-person spaces across the south to worship, learn, create, and serve—following the Spirit through music, story, and shared wonder.
Rooted in the Christian story, Sanctuary South invites artists, seekers, and skeptics alike into conversations that honor mystery and meaning.
Our practices draw from the whole of the artistic expressions like Americana music, storytelling, and ancient liturgy—where a song lyric can be a psalm, and a poem can preach.
Sound & Soul
Sound and Soul is a living liturgy where southern sound meets sacred soul—faith interpreted through melody, meaning, and the shared rhtyhms of being human.
